Yang Kai

Kai Yang was born in 1956, in  Lan Zhou, Gan Su province, China. Currently, he works and lives in Beijing and Paris. In 1977, Yang graduated from Fine Art Major in Northwest Normal University. From 1987 to 1992, Yang entered the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris (École des Beaux-Arts) to study and work under the mentorship of Pierre Carron. In 2006, he had his first solo exhibition in China at the National Art Museum of China. He also had been exhibited in galleries and museums in Pairs, Beijing, Hong Kong and other cities.
